LANDSCAPES

ABOUT

The Scottish Highlands offer some of the most dramatic landscapes in the world, characterised by sweeping glens, jagged mountain peaks, and deep, dark lochs. The landscape is defined by its ancient, weather-worn geology. In places like Glencoe, towering volcanic peaks rise sharply from the valley floor, their slopes carpeted in a shifting patchwork of green bracken, purple heather, and dark peat. Under a heavy sky, these mountains take on a brooding, majestic quality, with silver ribbons of waterfalls cascading down sheer rock faces after a rainfall.
